Advanced Dental Technology Ridgefield

Giving Patients a More Modern Approach to Dentistry

Although our office opened in 1997, we’ve updated and added various dental technologies over time to give our patients a more modern approach to dentistry. While many professionals still commonly use traditional techniques, we find that by incorporating more innovative solutions, we can provide a more comfortable and positive patient experience while producing faster and more accurate results. Review the devices we use in-house and call us with any questions.

CT/ Cone Beam Scanner

Our CT/Cone Beam Scanner takes 360-degree, high-resolution scans of your head and mouth that make it possible for our team to accurately view and prepare complex treatment plans. The images form to create a single 3D model that we can use to closely examine even the most intricate areas of your oral anatomy and facial structures (i.e., neck, jawbones, etc.).

Intraoral Camera

Instead of trying to explain what it is that we see inside your mouth, we can now show you with the help of our intraoral camera. This handheld device scans your smile and projects the images onto a chairside monitor for easy viewing and more transparent explanations about your oral health and potential treatment.

Digital X-Rays

Making the most accurate diagnosis possible requires having a full, detailed picture of your smile. That’s why we’ve invested in digital X-ray technology. Taking an X-ray will show us parts of your smile that are harder to see with just the naked eye. Besides giving us a clear image of your teeth and gums, digital X-ray technology is safer and more convenient than traditional X-ray technology.

Digital Impression System

Preparing a customized restoration no longer requires the use of cold dental putty. Instead, we turn to our iTero and CEREC digital impression systems. This updated approach makes it easy to scan your teeth and gums to produce a three-dimensional model that can be used to quickly fabricate a custom-made dental crown or other similar restoration – no mess required.

Soft Tissue Laser

Whether it’s targeting diseased tissue that needs to be removed or crafting a more perfectly even gumline, our soft tissue laser can complete the job quickly and with minimal recovery required. The concentrated beam of light that is used touches only the affected areas, leaving all healthy tissues untouched. As a result, there is minimal bleeding and swelling, so at-home recovery is swift and effective.
